Our history
Tassalini S.p.A has been in the mechanical manufacturing business for nearly 100 years and has been producing technologically advanced valves and fittings with exclusive design and manufacture for the food, wine, beverage, chemical and pharmaceutical industries for more than 50 years.
The complete range of products is made of AISI 304L and AISI 316L stainless steel and is made of rolled material or hot-forged parts, solution heat-treated and mechanically processed; special care is devoted to the processing of threaded parts, and the removal of the end parts of the threads is carried out by mechanical operations to ensure absolute safety during part handling.
The range of items produced by Tassalini is manufactured according to the main international standards (DIN, SMS, RJT BS, ISS IDF, Gas, Eno, Macon and Clamp) and includes fittings; reductions; tee; curves; filters and mirrors; taps; adjustment, safety and check valves; butterfly valves of different types, with manual and pneumatic control, arranged for the insertion of electrical components; ball valves; pneumatic, 3-A and drainage valves; diaphragm valves.
All products are normally available in stock in standard sizes and the technical office of Tassalini S.p.A. is available for the study of any special pieces necessary for the construction of particular systems. The more than 7000 square meters of surface in the new headquarters in Peschiera Borromeo have ensured a more accurate organization of production, controls and storage in the warehouse and have allowed the installation of a series of latest-generation machine tools, of extremely advanced design and operating with highly sophisticated programs.
A meticulous series of checks and inspections represents a further operational aspect that contributes to guaranteeing the quality of Tassalini fittings and valves, internationally recognized. Tassalini S.p.A. is present with a widespread network of its dealers on the European and world market.
From 1925 until today
The Tassalini Riccardo magnet workshop is founded in Via Lamarmora, Milan, repairing magnets and manufacturing spare parts and similar items for cars.
Brothers Erminio and Augusto join their father in running the company, founding Tassalini snc.
Construction and transfer to the new factory in Peschiera Borromeo and creation of components for new sectors: agri-food, beverages and wine. The Tassalini workshop becomes a joint-stock company and, in the same years, begins to complement the manufacture of components with the production of precision valves for food processing plants.
In 1989, the new factory in Peschiera Borromeo becomes operational. Its 7,000 m² of floor space ensure more efficient organisation of production, quality control and warehouse storage, and allow for the installation of a series of latest-generation machine tools. The commercial organisation is also strengthened: in 1982, a service centre for the wine industry is created in Canelli.
Production is entirely carried out in Aisi 304L and Aisi 316L stainless steel, including for the biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The range of items, all available in stock in standard sizes, is manufactured in accordance with the main international standards.
A centre specialising in pipe finishing processes is established in Pandino, and the marketing map expands further.
Micaela Tassalini, who had already successfully overseen the company’s international expansion, opens a branch in Australia, which she manages herself. TASSALINI PTY LTD still operates today as an official distributor under the name Ausvalve Ltd.
The local unit in Via A. Grandi is established, specialising in the mechanical processing of stainless steel pipes.
A 192 kW system is installed on almost the entire roof, but it is not enough to power the entire production facility.
Change of company name from Fratelli Tassalini officina meccanica SPA to Tassalini SPA
On 18/06/2020, we obtained certificates of compliance with Directive 2014/34/EU for products installed in explosive atmospheres (group 2 – category 2 suitable for zone 2 GAS).
On 12/12/2020, the company registered its MOCA activity with the competent health authority and became a manufacturer of stainless steel fittings, valves and accessories intended for food contact.
Tea inox Srl of Pandino was incorporated as a production unit of Tassalini Spa.
Sons Roberto and Luca took over the reins of the company, following in the footsteps of their father and uncle, bringing a breath of fresh air to the company.
Expansion of the photovoltaic system to a total capacity of 500 kWh. Thanks to this intervention, Tassalini produces even more clean energy, actively contributing to environmental sustainability and energy efficiency.
Today, the production entirely made of Aisi 304L and Aisi 316L stainless steel — is intended not only for the agri-food, wine and beverage sectors, but also for the biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The current range of items all available in stock in standard sizes is manufactured in accordance with the main international standards.
