WEBSITE PRIVACY POLICY

This page describes how the site is managed with regard to the processing of the personal data of users who visit it.

This notice is also provided pursuant to art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code to those who interact with the web services that can be accessed online from the address: www.tassalini.it

This notice is provided only for the website in question and not for any other websites that may be visited by the user via links.

This notice is also inspired by Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by the European data protection authorities forming the Working Party established by article 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC on 17 May 2001 to identify certain minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online, and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.

Following a visit to this website, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed.
The ‘controller’ of the processing of such data is Tassalini S.p.A. with registered office in via G. Di Vittorio 19/21 — Peschiera Borromeo — Milano.

 

PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING

The processing operations connected to the web services of this site take place at Tassalini S.p.A. with registered office in Peschiera Borromeo (Mi) and are carried out only by technical personnel of the office in charge of processing, or by persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data from the web service is disclosed or disseminated.

The personal data provided by users who request information material to be sent to them are used solely for the purpose of performing the service requested and are communicated to third parties only if this is necessary for that purpose.

 

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website capture certain personal data during their normal operation, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, however by its very nature it could allow users to be identified, through processing and association with data held by third parties.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.

The above data is used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its correct operation, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the website; except for this eventuality, currently web contact data do not persist for more than seven days.

The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses reported on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Specific summary information will be progressively reported or displayed on the pages of the website set up for particular services on request.

 

COOKIES

No personal user data is acquired by the website in this respect.

We do not use cookies to transmit personal information, nor do we use so-called persistent cookies of any kind, i.e. systems for tracking users.

The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored persistently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (random numbers generated by the server) which are necessary to enable safe and efficient navigation of the website.

The session cookies used on this website avoid the use of other IT techniques potentially prejudicial to the confidentiality of users’ browsing data and do not allow for the acquisition of personal data identifying the user.

 

OPTIONAL PROVISION OF DATA

Apart from what specified above concerning navigation data, the user is free to provide his/her personal data indicated in the request forms or in any case indicated in contact forms to request the delivery of informative material or other communications.

Failure to provide such data may result in the impossibility of obtaining what has been requested.

For the sake of completeness, please remember that in some cases (not covered by the ordinary management of this website) the Authority may request news and information pursuant to article 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 for the purpose of checking the processing of personal data. In such cases, a reply is mandatory under penalty of administrative sanction.

 

METHOD OF TREATMENT

Personal data are processed by automated means for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent loss of, unlawful or incorrect use of and unauthorised access to the data.

 

RIGHTS OF INTERESTED PARTIES

The persons to whom the personal data refer have at any time the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data and to be informed of their content and origin, to verify their accuracy or to request that they be supplemented or updated, or rectified (Art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).

Pursuant to the same article, data subjects have the right to request the erasure, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in breach of the law, as well as to oppose their processing in any case, for legitimate reasons.
